Mission Statement
The mission of the Youth Department of Mount Olive Baptist Church (MOBC) is to encourage, inspire, and nurture our young people as they grow in their faith, relationship with Jesus Christ, and understanding of God’s Word.
Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Youth Department seeks to provide a loving, welcoming, and supportive environment where young people can discover their God-given gifts, build positive relationships, and develop a strong Christian foundation.
Purpose
The purpose of the Youth Department is to promote spiritual growth, Christian fellowship, leadership, service, and positive development among the youth of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
We seek to help our young people understand that they are an important part of the church today and encourage them to use their gifts and talents to serve God, the church, and the community.
Biblical Foundation
The Youth Department is guided by the biblical principles of faith, love, wisdom, obedience, service, and spiritual growth.
